Amendment #301 to H5150

College and Career Readiness Programming in the City of Lowell

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7027-0019, in line 20, by inserting after "programs" the following: "provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to Project Learn for the continued implementation of programming in the city of Lowell for the purpose of improving college and career readiness for students currently or recently enrolled in a public high school in the city of Lowell.  Project Learn may pursue partnerships with public and private entities to provide said programming."; and in said item by striking out the figures "$6,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$6,150,000".
