Amendment #482 to H5150

Maintenance Service Contracts

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren moves to amend the bill by inserting the following sections:-

SECTION XX . The fourth paragraph of subsection (a) of section 39M of chapter 30 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 64, the words “, maintenance”.

SECTION XX. Section 51 of said chapter 30, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 1, after the word “services”, the following words:- which shall include maintenance services to a facility or system and replacement of equipment within existing systems as part of a periodic maintenance contract,.

SECTION XX. Section 52 of said chapter 30, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 1, after the word “services”, the following words:- which shall include maintenance services to a facility or system and replacement of equipment within existing systems as part of a periodic maintenance contract,.

SECTION XX . Section 44A of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, each time it appears, in lines 48, 60, 99, 111, and lines 136 and 137, the word “, maintenance”.

SECTION XX . Subsection (a) of section 44A½ of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 6, the word “, maintenance”.
