MAPLE Consortium

Mr. Barrett of North Adams moves to amend the bill in Section 2, by inserting after line-item 7010-1202, the following new line item: "7010-1212

For the expansion of the MAPLE Consortium to transform emergency instruction into high-quality, equitable teaching and learning practices to support school, district leaders and educators in kindergarten through grade 12 through the building blocks of equitable remote learning; provided further, the expansion shall give preference to high-needs districts across urban, suburban and rural school districts; and provided further, that a report shall be filed with the department of elementary and secondary education, detailing the impact of the expansion, expenditure of the funds and districts served no later than December 31, 2020…………………………..$250,000"
