Prison Mitigation

Representatives Kafka of Stoughton, Rogers of Norwood, McMurtry of Dedham and Dooley of Norfolk move to amend the bill, in Section 2, in line item 8900-0001, by adding, at the end, the following:"provided further, that the department shall expend not less than $2,200,000 for municipalities hosting department of corrections facilities; provided however, no municipality hosting a department of corrections facility shall receive more than $800,000; and provided further, that no municipality hosting a department of corrections facility shall receive less than the amount allocated in item 8900-0001 of section 2 of chapter 68 of the acts of 2011"
