Section XX:  Section 17 of Chapter 17 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition,  is hereby amended by striking out lines 13 to 16 and inserting in place thereof the following:- “The Salary of the Massachusetts Sheriffs shall be a sum equivalent to the salary of the District Attorney of their county. “
