Amendment #637 to H5150

SMOC Opioid Programming

Ms. Robinson of Framingham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4512-0203, by inserting after “substances” in the last line the following: “provided further than not less than $100,000 be provided to the South Middlesex Opportunity Council to provide clients with faster access to treatment, connect participants with resources including shelter, food and detox programs, NARCAN training, educate the community and participants about substance abuse and addiction and fund a Substance Use Coordinator and a Caseworker”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$1,440,450" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$1,540,450".
