DDS Sex Offender Registry Information - Level 1 Access

Ms. Khan of Newton moves to amend the bill by adding at the end thereof the following new section:-

"SECTION XX. Section 178K(2)(a) of chapter 6, of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, the fourth sentence, and inserting in place thereof the following:-

The police and the board may, however, release such information identifying such sex offender to the department of correction, any county correctional facility, the department of youth services, the department of children and families, the parole board, the department of probation, the department of early education and care, the department of mental health, and the department of developmental services, all city, and town police departments and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
