Amendment #716 to H5150

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center

Representatives Campbell of Methuen, Moran of Lawrence, Vargas of Haverhill and Minicucci of North Andover move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4510-0110, by adding the following: “; provided further, that not less than $200,000 shall be expended to the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc. for programs to increase access to health care for the medically underserved in the city of Haverhill; provided further, that such programs shall include the development of a full-service community health center in the city of Haverhill with collaborative, graduate degree-level programs to train advanced practice nurses by Regis College; provided further, that the expenditure of such funds shall be contingent on the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc. providing a matching amount of not less than $200,000 in private funding”.
