MBTA Fare Collection

Mr. Moore, Ms. Gobi, Messrs. Humason and O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting, after section ____, the following new section:-

"SECTION ____. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall conduct an analysis and report back to the general court with a plan for implementing by January 1, 2020 on lost revenue due to uncollected fares on all transit systems operated by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in the commonwealth."
