Accepting clinical standards for hormonal therapy in children

Mr. Tran moves that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after subsection (d) the following subsection: -

(e) Notwithstanding any provision of this section, it shall be unlawful for a health care provider to subject a child, who has not been medically evaluated to have reached Tanner Stage 2, to puberty-suppressing hormones for the purpose of gender identity change efforts.
