Accepting clinical standards for gender reassignment surgery

Mr. Tran moves that the proposed new text be amended (e) Notwithstanding any provision of this section, it shall be unlawful for a health care provider to perform any irreversible surgical procedure on a child under the age of 18 for the purpose of gender identity change efforts.
