Aligning Local Speed Limit Signs

Ms. Comerford moves that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section 9 the following section:-

“SECTION 9A. Subsection (a) of section 17C of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "establish", in line 7, the following words:- and post”; and

in section 10 by adding the following  proposed subsection:-

“(d) Upon establishing a speed limit pursuant to this section, the city or town may, without further authority, remove any sign establishing a speed limit in conflict with this section.”.
