The committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred the Senate Bill relative to the transfer and sale of a certain parcel of land in the town of Tewksbury (Senate, No. 2384), reports recommending that the same ought to pass with amendments striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the text contained in House document numbered 4889.

Text of an amendment, recommended by the committee on Ways and Means, to the Senate Bill relative to the transfer and sale of a certain parcel of land in the town of Tewksbury (Senate, No. 2384). July 27, 2020.

By striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following:–
 

Section 5 of chapter 153 of the acts of 2010 is hereby amended by striking out the words “the proceeds from the sale of the Police Station property equally with the commonwealth” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- equally with the commonwealth: (i) the proceeds from the sale of the Police Station property; and (ii) the net of any costs the town of Tewksbury incurs to remove buildings from the Police Station property or to otherwise prepare the Police Station property for sale.”.
