Local Approval to Opt In

Mr. Tran moves that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after line 65 the following:-

(g) Any city, town or school district maintaining or implementing any curriculum, unit of study, school-sanctioned program or activity which involves sex education in compliance with this act shall offer it only after public hearings are held and an affirmative vote from the school district.
