Funding from Educational Opportunity for students act

Mr. Tarr moves that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 1 the following section:-

"SECTION 1A. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of elementary and secondary education shall submit an accounting of the cost of providing school breakfast after the beginning of the instructional day, including a breakdown of state and federal funds and additional funding sources made available to provide school breakfast after the beginning of the instructional day, to the clerks of the senate and house of representatives and the joint committee on education not later than December 31, 2020.”.
