Redraft Amendment 4

State building code for zero emission vehicles

Mr. Tarr moves that the proposed new draft be amended by striking in line 6 the following:- “a motor vehicle that produces no engine exhaust emissions.” And inserting in place thereof the following:-   “a battery electric vehicle, a plug-in hybrid vehicle or a fuel cell vehicle.”

Moves to further amend in line 35 by striking the following:- “shall mean a motor vehicle that produces no engine exhaust emissions.” And inserting in place thereof the following:- “shall mean a battery electric vehicle, a plug-in hybrid vehicle or a fuel cell vehicle.”

Moves to further amend in line 102 striking the following:- “shall mean a motor vehicle that produces no engine exhaust emissions.” And inserting in place thereof the following:- “shall mean a battery electric vehicle, a plug-in hybrid vehicle or a fuel cell vehicle.”
