Protection of employees that report violations of private contractors of public utilities

Mr. Feeney, Ms. DiZoglio, Messrs. Keenan and Pacheco, Ms. Comerford, Messrs. O'Connor, Brady and Collins, Ms. Gobi and Mr. Tarr move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after Section XX the following new section:-

SECTION XX. Section 185 of chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “relationship”, each time it appears, the following words:- including private contractors hired to perform work customarily performed by employees of public utility employers.
