Emergency Preamble

Mr. Timilty moves to amend the bill by striking out section 3; and

by inserting before the enacting clause the following emergency preamble:-

“Whereas, the deferred operation of this act would defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a speed limit of 25 miles per hour for the intersection of state highway route 28 and Chickatawbut road, therefore it is hereby declared an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public safety.”.
