Email notification of early voting sites

Ms. Rausch, Ms. Chang-Diaz, Mr. Eldridge and Ms. Comerford move that the proposed new text be amended in Section 7 by inserting in line 194 after the words “state secretary” the following:-

“The registrar for each city or town shall also notify voters of early voting sites for the primary election by using an electronic means, to the extent available, such as via email or reverse 911 call.”

And further amends the same section by inserting in line 201 the following:-

“The registrar for each city or town shall also notify voters of early voting sites for the general election by using an electronic means, to the extent available, such as via email or reverse 911 call.”
