Election Officers and Registrars

Mr. Brady moves that the proposed new text be amended in Section 6(d)(1), in line 55 by striking the figure:- “15” and inserting in place thereof the figure:- “1.”

And further moves to amend the bill in Section 6(d) by striking section (3) and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“3) The election officers and registrars of every city or town shall include an application for a voter to be permitted to vote early by mail for the primary and general election with the acknowledgement notice sent to any person registering to vote or changing their voter registration address on or after July 1, 2020 and on or before October 24, 2020.”
