Pediatric Mental Health Patients

Messrs. Tarr, Welch and O'Connor move that the proposed new draft be amended by inserting after section _ the following new section:-

"SECTION_. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary the department of public health shall conduct a study pediatric mental health services in emergency departments.  This study shall include but not be limited to the time for patient before being examined by a health care provider, duration of stay, and delivery of care.

The department shall submit said report and any legislative recommendations to the clerks of the house and senate, and the joint committee on children, families, and persons with disabilities by December 31,2020"
