Messrs. Tarr and O'Connor and Ms. Moran move that the proposed new text be amended in section 2A, in item 1599-1231, by inserting after the word “services”, the first time it appears the following words:-  “; provided further, that funds shall be expended for the costs associated with measures necessary to prevent the admission and readmission to licensed skilled nursing facilities of persons who tested positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, and to facilitate the segregation of such persons from other residents of skilled nursing facilities so as to prevent or mitigate the transmission of the virus.”.
