Tourism Promotion

Mr. Cyr, Ms. Lovely, Ms. Moran, Ms. Comerford, Messrs. Welch, Crighton, O'Connor, Eldridge, Tran and Moore, Ms. DiZoglio and Mr. Hinds move that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following new section:

SECTION XX.  The secretary of the executive office of housing and economic development is hereby directed to make an application for a waiver for the commonwealth to utilize United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant funds to be directed though the Massachusetts office of travel and tourism to the regional tourism councils for visitation and tourism travel recovery marketing and promotion.
