Ensuring Regional Transit Authorities' Financial Stability

Ms. Chandler, Ms. Comerford, Messrs. Eldridge, Lesser and Welch, Ms. DiZoglio, Ms. Gobi, Ms. Moran, Messrs. Timilty and Brady and Ms. Rausch move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after Section 42 the following section:-  "Section XX.

The last paragraph of section 23 of chapter 161B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 official edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- Said contract assistance shall be increased each year by the inflation index as defined in section 35T of chapter 10 for the preceding 12 months as certified on March 1."
