Protection of sexually trafficked children and other vulnerable populations
Ms. DiZoglio and Mr. Montigny move to amend the bill in section 94 by adding to the end of subsection (a) of section 2D of chapter 276 of the General Laws the following sentence:-
A warrant to enter pursuant to this subsection may be issued notwithstanding a reasonable belief that minor children or adults over the age of 65 are in the home if the affidavit supporting the request for the warrant establishes probable cause with articulated credible and reliable facts that the presence of such minor children or adults over the age of 65 in the home is being used to further the commission of a crime, including, but not limited to, child endangerment or child sex trafficking or the life of the minor child or adult over the age of 65 is in danger.
