A technical fix

Mr. Finegold moves to amend the bill in section 1, by striking out, in lines 16 and 17, the words “assess taxes for the payment of” and inserting in place thereof the follow words:- “exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so-called, the amounts required to pay”; and

by striking out sections 6 and 7 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

“SECTION 6. This act shall take effect upon its passage”.
