Corrective Amendment

Mr. Rodrigues moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 1, in proposed section 168E of chapter 6, by inserting after the word “be”, in line 178,  the following word:- “personally”; and

in said section 1, in proposed subsection (h) of said section 168E, by adding the following sentence:-

“To the extent feasible, an institution that does provide its own sexual assault crisis service center shall also enter into and maintain a memorandum of understanding under this subsection with a community-based sexual assault crisis service center funded by the department of public health and a community-based domestic violence program funded by the department of public health; provided, however, that the department of higher education, in consultation with the department of public health, shall provide guidance on what shall constitute feasibility for the purposes of such memorandum.”; and

in said section 1, in said proposed section 168E, by striking out, in line 330, the word “reporting”; and

in said section 1, in said proposed section 168E, by striking out, in line 332, the words “reporting party” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “party who shared the information”; and

in said section 1, in said proposed section 168E, by striking out, in line 387, the words:- “responsible employee,”.
