Commuter Rail Fare Equity

Mr. Rush and Ms. Chang-Diaz moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 80 the following section:-

“SECTION XX.   Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, by no later than December 31, 2019, designate all commuter rail stations in the city of Boston zone 1A for the purposes of fare equity for city of Boston residents.”
