Support for Families of Substance Abused Newborns

Messrs. deMacedo, Keenan, Tarr, Brady, Feeney and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1450-1200, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended for the Health Policy Commission for a childhood grant program to support and care for families with substance-exposed newborns, including the evaluation and reporting of outcomes pursuant  to section 19 of chapter 208 of the acts of 2018"; and by striking out the figure "$9,032,999" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$9,332,999".
