Apprenticeship Program Expansion

Ms. Jehlen and Mr. O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7003-0151, by striking “For the purposes of expanding registered apprenticeships in priority manufacturing, health care and information technology industries”  and inserting in place thereof the following language:-

“For the purposes of expanding and diversifying registered apprenticeships including in priority manufacturing, healthcare and information technology industries; provided, that funds shall be expended to implement the recommendations of the Black Advisory Commission and the Latino Advisory Commission”;

and further, in said section 2, in line item 7003-0151, by striking out the figure “$500,000” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “$3,406,025”
