Cost of Human Services in Geographically Isolated Areas

Mr. Cyr moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0300, by inserting after the word “Laws”, in line 7, the following words:- “; provided further, that the executive office and its agencies, when contracting for services on the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, and the town of Provincetown, shall take into consideration the increased costs associated with the provision of goods, services and housing in said jurisdictions”.
