STR Platform Liability

Mr. Fattman moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section _ the following section:-

SECTION XX. Subsection (a) of section 13 of chapter 64G of the General Laws, as inserted by section 8 of chapter 337 of the acts of 2018, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:- The intermediary shall not be liable for faults in collecting or facilitating the collection of rent caused by the intermediary’s reasonable reliance on representations made to it by the operator about their registration status.
