Supporting Massachusetts Lobster Fishermen

Messrs. deMacedo and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2330-0100, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for a grant program to provide financial support for Massachusetts lobster fishermen suffering adverse economic effects due to the emergency ban on fishing in Cape Cod Bay for the protection of endangered right whales"; and by striking out the figure "$7,029,928" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$8,029,928".
