Preserve Access to Essential Services

Mr. Eldridge, Ms. Rausch, Messrs. Timilty, Moore, Brady, Tarr and Feeney moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting the following new section:-

"SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, in order to preserve access to essential services, hospitals may not close any beds, units or facilities for the duration of the novel coronavirus public health crisis."
