Protecting the Health of Corrections Employees and Incarcerated Individuals

Ms. Rausch, Mr. Eldridge, Ms. Chang-Diaz, Ms. Jehlen and Mr. Barrett moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8900-0001, by adding the following:- “provided further, that the department shall expend funds sufficient to administer weekly surveillance testing of consenting inmates in all correctional facilities for the 2019 novel coronavirus, irrespective of presentation of any COVID-19 symptoms, throughout the COVID-19 state of emergency”
