Transgender Emergency Fund

Messrs. Cyr, O'Connor, Tarr and Crighton moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1599-1233, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the Transgender Emergency Fund of Massachusetts, Inc. for COVID-19 response efforts and programming, including but not limited to supports for housing insecure and homeless individuals;”; and by striking out the figure “100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$150,000”.
