Safe Early Education for Children and Families in Springfield

Mr. Welch moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1599-1233, by adding the following words:- "provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Springfield Day Nursery Corporation in the city of Springfield to provide safe care for children and families”; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $150,000.
