Amendment #8 to H3930

Voting Remotely

Representatives Hill of Ipswich, Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the order by inserting at the end of Rule 49 the following:

"If a member is prevented from voting personally using the electronic voting system due to hospitalization or due to incapacitation as a result of ongoing medical treatments, said member shall be allowed to vote remotely on all roll calls, including any quorum roll call, provided that said member has provided the Clerk with documentation from their doctor verifying that the member cannot vote in person."
