Matching Grants

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Ferguson of Holden, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn, Smola of Warren, Muradian of Grafton and Soter of Bellingham move to amend the bill in section 4, in line 723, by inserting after the words “service programs” the following:-

“(3) For the purpose of providing matching grants to elementary and secondary youth sports, organizations, clubs, and other school groups for the purpose of attending events including, but not limited to, academic events and programs, cultural events, and award ceremonies both nationally and internationally."
