Mr. Madaro of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 16, in line 838, by inserting after the word “year” the following words:- ; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to use of telephones or other devices or means to place wagers authorized pursuant to the provisions of section 5C of chapter 128A.
