Amendment #4 to H3977

Horse Racing in the Town of Great Barrington

Mr. Pignatelli of Lenox moves to amend the bill in line 63-73, inclusive, by inserting in section 3, after line 73, the following paragraph:

“The Town of Great Barrington — upon the approval of a horse racing license and the resumption of horse racing as confirmed by Citizens of said Town through a majority vote at an annual town meeting and an all-day election ballot — will be eligible to be considered for a “Category 2 license” for sports wagering purposes by the commission.”
