Amendment #1003 to H4000

Friends of Fells Conservation Efforts

Representatives Lipper-Garabedian of Melrose, Donato of Medford, Barber of Somerville, Garballey of Arlington and Ultrino of Malden move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 2810-0100, by adding the following: “; provided that not less than $75,000 shall be expended to the Friends of the Fells to support conservation efforts that protect and enhance the habitats of the Middlesex Fells Reservation including, but not limited to, reducing rogue trails, managing invasive species, and establishing a monitoring program;” and in said item by striking out the figures “50,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “50,000,075”.
