Amendment #1011 to H4000

Veteran monument and grave markers

Mr. Arciero of Westford moves that House Bill 4000 be amended in Section 2, line-item 1410-1616, by inserting after the word “memorials” the following: “, provided that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for the renovation of the World War I monument at the corner of King street and Shattuck Street and for the marking of veterans graves at the Westlawn Cemetery in the town of Littleton”, and by further amending the line item by striking the figure “150,000” and inserting in place thereof the following new figure “225,000”.
