Amendment #1039 to H4000

Commuter Transit Benefits

Mr. Vitolo of Brookline moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:

SECTION XX. Section 1 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subsection (c), by inserting after the figure “106,” the following figures:- 132(f)

SECTION XX. Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subparagraph (15) of subsection (b), by striking the words “weekly or monthly transit commuter passes for Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority transit, bus, commuter rail or commuter boat” and inserting in its place the following:- “Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority or Regional Transit Authority transit, bus, commuter rail or commuter boat fares, or for a bikeshare membership or for a bicycle including electric bikes, bicycle improvements, repair, and storage,”

SECTION XX. Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subparagraph (15) of subsection (b), by striking the figure $150 each time it appears and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$50”.
