Amendment #1121 to H4000

DMH Homelessness Support Services

Ms. Malia of Boston moves to amend the bill in said Section 2, in item 5046-2000, in line 1, by inserting after “services”,  the following: “; provided that not less than $1,621,000 shall be expended on the expansion of low threshold, safe haven housing for men and women with mental health conditions who have been chronically homeless in Western Massachusetts, Southeast Massachusetts, and Northeast Massachusetts; and provided further, that not less than $425,000 shall be expended on program staffing supports at Pine Street Inn’s New Chardon Street location in the City of Boston for safe housing for women who are homeless and have mental health conditions”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$22,737,573" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$24,783,573".
