Establishing a grant program for low noise, low emissions landscape maintenance equipment
Ms. Ciccolo of Lexington moves to amend the bill in section 2, item 2000-0101 by inserting after "offshore wind" the following: ", provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be used to establish a grant program to provide incentive funds to cities and towns to transition municipal landscape maintenance equipment to low noise, low emissions equipment (funds from this program may also be made available to private landscape companies for zero interest loans to convert their equipment to low noise, low emissions landscape equipment),” and in said item by striking out the figures "$2,213,999" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$2,363,999".
