Private School Land Use

Mr. Howitt of Seekonk moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

“SECTION XX. Chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 official edition, is hereby amended by adding at the end a new section: -

‘Section 24: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, out of state educational entity with property use in Massachusetts shall meet with local land use authorities to negotiate a Payment In Lieu Of Tax (PILOT) settlement.’”
