Fentanyl Testing Pilot Program
Ms. Gouveia of Acton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4512-0200, by striking out the figures “160,134,092” and inserting in place thereof the figures “160,284,092” and by inserting after the words “risk of HIV;”, the following: “provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for expansion of a fentanyl drug testing harm reduction pilot program administered by the Department of Public Health; provided further, that services of said pilot program shall be prioritized in communities comprised of 20% or more of racial and ethnic minorities and to communities comprised of 20% or more of residents whose primary language is not English”.
