Amendment #490 to H4000

Cape Verdean Immigrant Outreach

Ms. Miranda of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7003-1206, by inserting after the word "organizations" the following: "; provided, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for Cape Verdean Community UNIDO, Inc for program expansion serving immigrants in the Roxbury and Dorchester areas of Boston"; and in said line item by striking out the figures "$1,400,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$1,650,000".
