Timing Allocation Tourism/Hospitality Marketing Grants

Mr. Tucker of Salem moves to amend the bill in section 2, to be amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:-

SECTION XX. Grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (a) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T of said chapter 23A for fiscal year 2021 shall be distributed not later than September 1, 2021. Grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (b) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils for fiscal year 2020 shall be distributed not later than January 1, 2021 according to the current allocation formula.
